Dedicated conservation biologist with strong love for nature and the environment. Working as a Range technical officer for fifteen years. Field practice across Lesotho's rangelands has developed insights of nature and better understand biodiversity and earth systems and how combined they could be used to improve livelihoods of the rural communities in the changing time of climate change .Eager to further develop expertise in biodiversity conservation with keen interest in sustainable use and human-wildlife conflict research. Excited to engage in collaborative environmental sustainability and climate change initiatives in Lesotho and across the globe.

  • Determine level of rangelands exploitation, advise and implement mitigation measures
  • Promote community involvement and local authorities on rangelands use
  • Establish herders and range management/grazing associations for better range management
  • Maintain biodiversity conservation for healthy and balanced ecosystems
  • Promote and support income generating activities by grazing and herders associations for improved livelihoods
  • Rehabilitate and improve rangelands productivity where degraded for better livestock production
  • Promote fodder production for supplementation of rangelands
  • Conserve and increase availability of native species for cultural, social, religious and economic value
  • Advocate for biodiversity conservation for aesthetic beauty of landscape and sustainable recreation which improves tourism sector hence job creation for rural communities
  • Protect water resources through wetlands restoration for water quality and yield.
